FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does it
take to set up the track?
Set-up of the track itself takes 1 ½-2
hours to complete, with standard set decorations plan 3 hours. If our tent
is to be used for an outside event add an additional 2 hours. Track teardown
can usually be accomplished in two hours or less.
How many racers can we handle?
The four-car setup allows an average of 80
racers per hour. The six-car setup can accommodate 100 racers per hour. Expect to triple these numbers
for entertainment value. Many spectators enjoy the races even if they don’t
drive. Lots of fun for all!
Do
we need to help setup the track or run the races?
No. Fastrack Entertainment handles
all aspects of setting up the track, managing the races, and tearing down the
track after the event. Just show us where you want us to set up and stand
back to watch it happen.
What are the space requirements?
Indoors, a 20' x 30w' is the required
space for our mid size track and 20’x34w’ for the super speedway. The system
can be easily carted into most facilities. If it is an outdoor event and
we are providing our own tent, a 30’d x40’w space is required. We must be
notified in advance if we are using our tent!!
The ground has to be reasonably flat and level. Most any floor type is
acceptable including recently cut grass.
Is a tent
required if outdoors?
Yes. Due to the sensitive nature of our
electronic components we must be protected from the elements. If we are not
contracted to provide our tent, the client is responsible to provide an erected
covered space of 30' x 40' with a flat, level surface. We cannot set up without
the proper covered area prepared.
What are the electrical requirements?
Inside or outside, one standard 110 volt
20 amp wall plug is all that is needed. With notice, and understanding of
the noise a generator makes, we can supply a generator for an additional
fee.
Are there discounts available?
Yes. There is special pricing available
when contracting us for multiple dates, consecutive dates or extended hours of
operation. Please contact us for details.
What are the deposit payment terms?
A non-refundable deposit of $500 for
each day of performance and 50% of any applicable travel fees is
required to reserve your date, with the balance due on the day of the
event. We also require a 50% deposit on all customization options (car
bodies, signs, etc.)
What if I need to reschedule?
Events that need to be rescheduled less
than 45 days in advance will incur a $250 rescheduling fee. Fastrack
cannot be held responsible if we are not available on the requested rescheduled
date. In this instance, the deposit will be applied as a credit toward a
future event, minus the $250 rescheduling fee.
Can we customize the track?
We encourage our clients to work with us
on decorating the track if advertising or brand awareness is important.
Custom car bodies can also be designed to give you further exposure on the
track. After the event, the car body is yours to keep. Most clients
are thrilled to see a car with their logo and colors out on the racetrack.
Please contact us for pricing information. We wear race themed shirts at
the shows, but are happy to dress in client provided shirts if so desired.
How far in
advance do I have to schedule you?
There is no specific amount of time that
we need. However the sooner you commit, the more likely it is that we will be
available on your date(s). If you are interested in having custom car
bodies designed for your event, we typically will need anywhere from 2-4 weeks
to have them made up, depending on quantity and complexity.
How far do you travel?
We travel anywhere in the United States.
We are located in Franklin NC and West Palm Beach FL, we do regular events in
Las Vegas, Chicago, Denver and Orlando.
